Now my life is complete! I know what Sharpie color I am. ROFLOL There are so many silly self-tests of this in the www that you can be a whole week taking them and you won’t take them all! What kind of person would spend time creating/taking these stupid tests? Don’t know, but I find myself every now and again taking them. Don’t know why, I just see a new one and take it without thinking much about it. Why? I don’t know… Maybe too much time free!? But whatever! I’m married to a genius… Seriously! Mike is a really smart person. I always say that I married him for his brain, not for his looks. LOL… See, he is a geek, just like me. I guess that’s perfect. The only problem is that, unlike me, he isn’t a very social person… Mmmm Heck! He is a social incompetent! Anyway… Although we don’t have a very social life, it is full of special/funny moments because of his ’special ways’ of doing things. Some people say we are a strange couple. I say we are a smart couple who knows how they want their stuff done.
Three “handy tools” we always have home are: Sharpies, Duck Tape & Wet Wipes. I don’t know how, but Duck/Duct Tape can fix just about anything! From fashion statement to first aid kit, this military tool has LOTS of uses. Just ask this couple! Whenever something brake or leak, we grab a piece of Duck Tape to fix it. Every now and then those ‘temporary’ fixes become permanent just for the sake of procrastination. While Duck Tape plays an important role on our DIY projects, the handy tool we most use is the Wet Wipe. If there’s some dirt, stain or spill we run for a wet wipe. The ones called baby wipes has become an all purpose tool in our house. From car to window cleaning that ‘handy tool’ makes a huge difference in our lives. Whenever I see a stained outfit the first thing I try to remove the stain with is a baby wipe. I’ve learned that Wet Wipes can remove just about any stain, but Sharpie. Those permanent ink markers are good to have home. But why do we have Sharpies in all colors available? To tell you the truth, I have no idea! I just know that I can use and abuse anything my husband has in his desk but his Sharpie… That’s off limits. If for any reason his Sharpies disappear he goes to the store to buy new ones. See. We are normal people with normal habits… Well I’ll admit we are a bit different.
The other day I see Mike, REALLY HAPPY, digging holes on the backyard. Putting dirt in a bucket and moving it to other places of the backyard. I watched quietly from the office but after a while I had to ask him what he was doing. He answered he was moving ants from one nest to the other to start an Ants War. Wasn’t just easier to use Fire Ant Killer Granules? Ok… I guess I’ll have to admit my husband is weird. But he makes me laugh!!! In the end, that’s why I married Mike.
